I am loving those colors!

themamahauser has quilted my top, I received it today and its going to be so cute. What a great job Tam-moo you will NOT be disappointed with the quilting at least :) its very much in the style I was planning so rubbing hands together. tomorrow I make binding and stitch it on this week. ready to mail in theory by this weekend. so keeping everyone informed. I am thinking it arrived in perfect time.

I am so guilty of not reporting in. Fixing that now.

KGoodhand and I are both finished and mailing this week! Finger crossed here , hoping the postal services of Canada and the US are on good terms this week. I picture a handsome Mountie on a white horse galloping across the provinces to deliver Kendra her quilt in style. Maybe he will be singing, too!

Getting there! Working on the binding. Sewmany and I preteen much in the same time frame!

I was told 10 days but we will see how that goes!! I missed the deadline on Friday but it is at the post office ready to go with their Monday deliveries!!!

Just finished quilting! Now for the "fun" part...binding...yecch!

All I have left to do is finish the hand binding part! Wooo!

Cindy, I need Tam-Moo's mail to please. today is the best day of the week to stand in line at the post office for me! dialysis makes it harder to do things most days and Mondays are the Best day of the week! I will take that!

Sorry I went MIA, I was in charge of the 4th of July parade in my area. We have the largest small town parade in all of Texas. It was CRAZY!!!

mumukate says she wants to sow her creation to her quilting guild before sending it to me. i told her that was fine as i know how we all love to hear whatever accolades we deserve. Mine is waiting to ship out as wall.

My quilt is in the mail! :) well with fedex, should arrive tomorrow! Am so excited for my partner Linda to receive it!

Got my quilt today!!!!! It is so beautiful I cant stop looking at it!! The work is breathtaking!! I was so blessed to have Carolyn as my partner.She will show pictures and then you all can see why I love it so much. She even made a not so small quilt for zoey my fur baby,but it is on my dinning table,too beautiful for zoey to sleep on. sorry I am greedy!!!! Thank you Carolyn!!!!!!!!!!

I am so happy you like it :) There were several techniques I wanted to try and that fabric/pattern and partner were absolutely perfect for them. :) It has wool batting, so should be very warm always, the fabrics were pre-washed to prevent running, the batting said to wash in cool water and dry cool...... :p forgot to add that in the card. Am so glad you love it! It was a true labor of love and I loved how it worked out! HUGS Here is a shot of the quilt and some shots of the quilting.

I got my quilt :) it so pretty and snuggly! I am almost wishing for winter to snuggle with it :p but I love summer too much so it is sitting here with me on the couch :) I'll take photos of it and post tomorrow, got home late from work today and was on phone with friend.......so too dark now to photograph :)

Twinriverfarm I just looked up your quilt and it says arrived in foreign country as of July 9th!!! Keeping my fingers crossed it will be home soon!!!

Woohoo!!!! I received my quilt!!!! Twinriverfarm made me the most beautiful quilt using 30's fabrics!!!! I have not yet been able to take a picture but I will today and post it as soon as possible!! Thank you again for swapping with me, I absolutely love it!!!!!

And I received mine, too! Kendra actually had fabrics in it that are also in my stash, so we must be really in sync as quilting buddies. I will take pictures and DH will help me get them posted. This is the 3rd year that I have participated in this swap, and I continue to be amazed and thrilled at the wonderful friends and quilts we make each year. Thank you again KGoodhand, and I am glad you like your quilt.

I meant to do this earlier but has been a very rough weekend! So here is the photo of the quilt from my partner :) I just love it! <3 I have had a migraine all weekend, and on friday I snuggled up on the couch with my dog, my cat and the quilt made with love from my partner :) It was wonderful!

Ok, I hope I did this correctly. ( and I will be totally shocked if I did). It is so comfy and cuddly, too bad it is 95 degrees today, or I would be wrapped up tight in it!

I have to say that romance quilt is unbelievable. the quilting done on that is boggling. I am so amazed at the nice things we are doing here. The ideas keep popping. I need to do one of this and one of that... and there was a simplier quilt posted also I believe with butterflies in the middle? I find that very easy on the eye also. :) so many to pick from! Tam Moo has received my quilt but claims she has to wait til she gets hers back from the quilter before she opens it. I have no such qualms about opening something about 2 seconds after I walk in the door with it. I commend anyone who has the restraint! (this is so not me).

yippee! got the go ahead to ship out to my partner. have quilt in machine taking its firt bath before mailing out.
