Armylady, you're retired, aren't you? Now you can start to accumulate Stuff without having to worry about weight limits and will you be overweight this PCS.
I remember having to get rid of the sandbox we built for our daughter, because it would have put us overweight. We just squeaked by on that PCS. I think we were 40 pounds under our maximum. |
Just got the March birthday addresses...2 western girls, and 1 is in Arizona. Looking forward to sending out!
|
March addresses are in your PM box. If you don't have a pm from me please let me know.

***********Very Important********
bjsmith57 said she is having problems with her mail and she will leave of town on March 23. Please try and get her package to her before she leaves. If you think you can not get your package to her by then please send me a message. Barb |
***********************More Important:eek:*********************************
This just in>>> I have a new address for bjsmith57 that you can mail her package to. Soooo if you have not mailed it to her yet (see above very important message) this is the more important message....I pm all of you her new address. Good luck that was a lot of messages to send in a short time! ;) Also this would be a good time for everyone to clean out your PM box. They only hold 500 messages (newbies eyes popped out) but that does count everything in all of your boxes including sent messages. Travelinggramma......you are all full I can't get through to you. So you do not have bjsmith57 new address. Please PM me when you have room. Bit of a rocky start.....all it can do is go up from here...right? Barb

Both the March birthday packages are going out in today's mail. Thank you, Barb for the corrected address; I did send to the new address. (only 20 minutes away from me!) Mailed early as I have GOT to start packing to move in 2 weeks. This whole transaction has been fraught with difficulties, so it kind of doesn't seem like it is really happening yet. I will be so glad when it's over, everything is in the "new" house and I can unpack my sewing room. Have a bunch of stuff I need to get going on.
|
Hi Ladies, I'm excited to get started I have lots of sq. cut and some even wrapped up ready to mail .Happy Sewing :)

Home to cut my squares tonight. I waited now I have to get them out for the birthday girls!

Got my birthday address and will use the corrected one for Bjsmith57 will mail out tomorrow.

March birthday girls, candies were mailed today and should arrive next week. BJ, I mailed to the corrected address so check for it there!
|
I mailed both of my birthday envelopes yesterday, and since I'm so close, I assume that one or both should be arriving on Saturday!

I'm trying to see if I can post a link to the spread sheet pdf from MizMelly. I highlighted, for my own use, the new swappers.
It worked for me. Hope this is helpful to others. Thanks MizMelly!!! |

You will click on the number in green where it says Feedback Score and then it will take you to the feedback page and on the right side of the page you will click on submit feedback for (the persons name will be after this) and then the box will open for you to add your feedback.
Hope this helps out. |
FYI...March birthday candies was mailed out today:thumbup:
|
March birthday cards mailed at Post Office today.
|
Candies mailed out today. Post Office didn't give me any trouble, but we've been going there for close to 30 years and they all know us. They only had 2 71-cent stamps, though. I was going to get all of them at once.
|
Thanks for the spreadsheet Sheri,, it's perfect! Sent out B-day cards today to the March ladies.
|
Just a note here. I did not PDF the excel spreadsheet thinking that some folks would want to keep it as an excel document so that they could just add to the columns and keep it digitally. I guess I didn't think that some would prefer to print it out.
Such is life, some of us are digitally inclined, others are more traditional. Next time I'll offer it both ways! Thanks to Sheri for thinking outside the digital box! |
Thanks MizMelly and SheriR for the spread sheet. I do not have excel so I needed to print it. Thanks again.
|
HI ladies, I'm checking in, you will usually see me on here throughout the weekends. My march candy surprises are ready to mail probably Monday. Since Thursday we have had a steady soaking rain, so if I don't have to go out I'm not. My Pups don't even want to go out in it. I did get both addresses and BJ's new address.
|
Rain, Rain go away..... but it does mean that spring is coming soon. I heard sandhill cranes this morning, heard cardinals calling yesterday and heard geese calling to each other last evening. Courting time is near. (wink, wink) I leave near a marsh and it gets a bit noisy and rowdy during bird courting days. :o Oh, I also saw a muskrat swim by. All that means is the rain has filled the marsh to a level deep enough for critter swimming. With all that watching out the windows, I do not have my envelopes addressed but they are all stuffed and ready to go on Monday.

:shock:Are you talking about a postage stamp quilt with 2.5" squares only?
If so........1 hopefully:shock: Now I have made quite a few quilts with my 2 1/2" squares. They go faster since they are accompanied with larger size pieces. I do use my squares as leaders and enders so every once in awhile I will make a 4 squares x 4 squares blocks. I probably have 20 of those made...... I guess that is a start of a postage stamp quilt. Good luck Tell us what you decide |
I thought the Postage Stamp quilt was made with something smaller than a candy (2 1/2" square). ...?
