Moonwork, I think I have come up w/ a great idea for your block. Before I get to deeply into designing and figuring out how I will pull it off is this quilt going to be for someone who really likes the 60 - 70 era, like lived it, or for a teen who likes the "feel" of the 70's? I'm asking b/c if it is for someone who likes the "feel" I doubt they would get the reference I am going to make and I'll change my plans.

Hi everyone... just joined you in the 2 month swap. This is my first BOOM but I've been intrigued for a while. Can't wait to create! My biggest problem is deciding what fabric to send.

Kass -- She's in her 60's and calls herself a hippie peace chick. As long as it's not a "leaf" from a certain plant I think most everything else is a okay.

It's a lot of fun, it is my favorite swap, glad to have you on board.

Oh no nothing like that, but if she is in her 60's she will get it, cool. Now I KNOW I have to figure out a way to "make it work". (I hope you read that in Tim Gunn's voice!!!! lol)

Welcome, Sewbizgirl. We're always happy to have new Boomers join us. Like Billi says, it is addicting, but so much fun. Can't wait to see your fabric.

Yay!!! You made it! I won't be exchanging blocks with you this time (I'm in the 3 month swap) but perhaps into the future...

Moonwork -- I know you want black for silhouettes but may we also pull some of the same colors from the fabric sent to us, into the square? I was looking at Peter Maxx's art and got some ideas from him but it won't work unless I can use some of solids of the same hues...
