I noticed 6 out of 10 have received the quilt top. I'm hoping to hear everyone has their top! I've added one recent picture to our album, looking forward to seeing more! (I got distracted with a Carolina crossroads top lately.) 3 weeks of sewing time left for this 3rd round. :-)
Vovoa, I'm trying not to be the only posting. lol

This is a bit off subject, but I have wanted to ask... Kwiltkrazy - is there a story behind your avatar?

Yes a very old one-My son took this picture, he is a forest fire fighter, the first year he fought fires, 2002. I think it says "there is beauty in everything"

I haven't received the next center yet but it is on it's way. I hope to feel better soon so I can work on it. I was in a car accident yesterday. I don't bounce like I used to. I am very sore today. Not sure about my car yet. Waiting on insurance to decided if they will fix it or total it. I stopped at a stop light but the kid behind me didn't. He felt so bad. The main thing is we both walked away. Accidents happen.

maryb119 oh my goodness! Did you go to the dr and get checked out? I hope you will feel better soon and hopefully the car does not have to much damage.

Well GracefulAnn's quilt talked to me and since I finished one of my own projects I just hopped on to it. I decided to set it on point. I love star blocks set on point hopefully you do too. I used the fabric you sent for the setting corners I like it, I think it looks perfect! I auditioned some I had and did not do it for me visually and I did not want anything to plain as I do not do applique so I think this fit the bill just right. I finished it off with a thin black print border so the next person in line has a good starting point to add too.

maryb119, Oh! I hope you are recuperating ok. It must be a stressful week for you on account of the accident.

frustratedquilter40, I've decided to set on point too. I've been procrastinating because I don't know the length of the right angle arms of the triangle, and I don't have any extra of the fabric I want to use for it if I make a mistake. Of course, the third side will be 24" plus seam allowance. Can you please let me know what is the length of the other sides? Your choice of fabric looks wonderful! I think the addition of all the colors and busy pattern of the fabric looks just right at this time! :-)
