I do enjoy the stories of other peoples families. Makes you feel like you know them a little better. We spent new years at home but my one of my sisters and her husband came to spend it will us. Made the holiday extra special. I have 5 sisters and 1 brother. I am the middle of seven. Not a bad place to be. I enjoyed being in the middle. You didn't have to break ground and you didn't have to be the one afraid to leave home and leave them by themselves. lol

Just have a minute - am enjoying reading what everyone is doing. We leave for AZ tomorrow morning bright and early, should arrive tues. pm and then I can start planning my row. I had an idea last night right before I fell asleep but, of course, it has left me now.
Pics of all are so nice - I love the penguins!. I promise to hold up my end of this group - Happy New Year. Carol

Hi Everyone,
Your mention of moving reminded me of our many moves. Although they were corporate moves, all paid for and a good step for his career, I hope to never do it again!
Take care, Boohoofish and don't get down sick.
Hope everyone is having a good New Year--so far!
Mariah.

I picked out the block and fabric for my two inside blocks for the rest of my row.
I will start them in a few minutes. Of course I will use my accuquilt (BABY this time) for the cutting - all half square triangles - a breeze to sew with my BABY.

Something I noticed is these 12" squares from quilter's cache are truly 12inches, Not 12 1/2 inches.

Maybe I will have to put a little border on...... .

I found someone in Colorado who is selling the fabric organizers at a real reasonable price. Her E-Mail is: [email protected] and ask her for more info.
It's a nice way to store your stask fabric.

I don't seem to be able to get away from here.
While I was bragging on the Accuquilt, they asked for a pic of the blocks, so I took one of all three, so I had to share them with you too. Here they are:

Now I am going to get those other two done ( they will be pretty too!

Now does anyone have any suggestions with the fact that these are only 12 inch blocks?
I didn't notice it when I was looking at the quilter's cache site.; I thought that maybe they were meaning after
'final' finishing. LOL

I would have thought that too. Do you have the blocks sewn together? You could add a contrasting border or cream colored border to each one. They look pretty. Or add a border all the way around the whole row when you were finished.

I thought a border all the way around, maybe in a pale pink.
I tried testing a border around one and it broke it up too much. We will know before I go to bed.
I am finished block #4 and #5 is cut (did that with #4 on my cutter (they are all half square triangles!)
