Winter 2018 I Spy Swap
#11
Welcome to the newbies! You will find this is addicting! Just a mention to think about or if it is in your budget- it is the same return to you postage if you do 1 set or 2 sets or even 3. So I always try to do as many as possible to make the postage worth it- if that makes sense. Plus I send in the padded flat rate postage envelope to save on postage.

I might up my set count, since I will be using a flat rate envelope-just not sure how many more sets yet. Going to think and dive into the stash to see what I come up with. My first set is cut and packaged. Thanks for the idea Bullock2us

It really makes it more cost effective to send in more sets because of the postage. If you have access to other poly envelopes I am ok with you using one of those if only sending in one set. Just enclose one for return shipment. I have even received some squares in another swap and a taped heavy duty ziplock bag - I was surprised and thought it was rather funny. Upping the count is fine.
I have one more signee already - and hope all, Moonrise, are recovering from the flu. It has really been a tough season for it - I have tried to stay away from people as much as possible.

Okay, I've got my squares cut and ready to go. There are 16 sets total. What I did was send two completely different groups of 8, which I've labeled "Set A" and "Set B". There are no overlapping squares between the two groups, so that should help a bit when it comes to eliminating/minimizing duplicates. (Personally, I like duplicates! LOL!)
I'll get the package in the mail in the next day or two.

Glad you are feeling better moonrise - we have several more who have responded and still have a couple who are shopping and getting ready. The list as it stands:
Stafar - 1 set
Sleepy Hollow – 4 sets
SewHappyInSF – 1 set
Mmonohon - 2 sets
Jannie – 2 sets
Bkay – 2 sets
Moonrise – 2 sets
And amounts of sets can be adjusted any time!

I'm a first time swapper with the I-Spy. Just so I can figure this out properly, if I swap 1 set (8 baggies of 10 charms), I'll end up with 80 different fabrics, yes?
Sorry....you'd think being in finance I'd have a better math brain.

Yes Red, that is right. That is what makes this and other swaps here so great - is the variety of prints one can get in the swap. Hope you will join in with us - but I will warn you, I Spy’s are addictive.
