Mine too. As soon as the holidays are over, I plan on using my new Go Cutter to cut them all up. Then, I don't know what I will do with them. I have seen some nifty ideas for storing cut blocks. I would then have room to walk to my sewing machine instead of broad jumping.
Have a wonderful Christmas everyone.

I totally understand your dilemma, I love scrap quilts but I'm not ever going to live long enough to do them AND cut up my yardage, the yardage wins, so what I do is give all my scraps to a couple of quilting friends, one of them doesn't have very much money and can't afford to buy fabric. They're both absolutely thrilled with the scraps. I make pet bed and stuff them with the tiny pieces of scraps and batting, and donate them to our local humane society.

I use the mesh square containers that many use for laundry, toys, etc. I have two and periodically go through them and share with others.

A couple of you have mentioned making pet beds with them. I really like that idea. I'm going to ask our local humane society if they need any. I'm sure that there will still be some left to make a few quilts. They're everywhere! I found a few scraps in my slippers today and I never wear them in my sewing space...go figger.

I have mine in small tote bins. One for small squares, large squares, strips and larger pieces for strips or squares. I am trying to use them up. If I get tired of that then I will donate them.

I use tall antique jars and a popcorn tin for all of my little scraps.

I got a free large plastic ice cream tub from Kilwins; washed it really well, and I'm going to fill it with scraps this year.

I have scraps in a few office file boxes. When my niece comes over she brings one of her plastic shoe boxes and goes through mine. Then she'll lay them on the cutting table piece them out. She uses her mothers old phone to take a photo and uses it as a guide. Gave her some tissue paper sheets and she will use the washable glue to adhere to the tissue paper. Not bad for a soon to be 9 yr. old. Her own method.

Another way to save scraps is to recycle your Christmas popcorn tins, they are cute and you don't have them stacked up trying to find a use for them.
