Maybe lists would work. I have been waking up and not being able to get to sleep thinking of how to 'Move the Clutter"---make more space and BREATHE, and get that JOY!

A list really keeps me from zigzagging around and getting tired with little to show for my work. And a list takes it out of my brain storage where it gets stuck.

You’re off to a great start Zozee...keep up the momentum and you may get through your entire list before the end of January. It must feel great to have your desktop cleaned.

I think a list sure does help to follow our goals. Nice list Zozee. I find I can get more accomplished if I have a list but sometimes I lose my list and then I am so lost!!

Great work Zozee, I've spent 30 minutes putting away threads and bobbins and folding fabric. That's me done for the day no motivation at all.

Wow, that looks great! Done in one day, too.

I don't have a dedicated room. Most of my "stuff" is in what was once a family room. Family grown and gone, so it is mostly sewing related now, but does still have sofa & tv, and it's wide open to the kitchen. My stash is all in a closet on the other side of the house. Both rooms are currently disheveled as we are remodeling and everything from the kitchen, a bathroom and laundry room has been moved into those rooms.

Love seeing the clean, inviting areas. Hope you'll post more!

I like your list ideas but I especially like the last part. That is exactly what I need to do .... give away to make space to breath and think so I can actually work on some things I want to do. Luckily we have a shop in town that takes all craft type things whether they are yarn, thread, patterns, fabric, musical instruments, crockery ... well, you get the idea that they will take just about anything usable. They do classes and you can buy from them for very little money. I will be donating there and the local charity shop. Hmmm, just thinking about that makes me feel better. Thanks zozee for posting this list. It is pushing me along to actually do the organizing.

Great job Zozee! I love seeing your pretty room. My room is a complete mess right now. I think I need to think seriously about freshening up my room and doing a little purging as well. I have more then I will ever use in my life time. And, I find I'm just really really tired of some of it. I feel I've used the same fabrics so often that I'm bored with it. I would love to free up a bit of clutter to be able to create more. Thinking...……….mulling it over...…...will look it over tomorrow.

Thanks for the wonderful pictures Zozee. They are inspiring and I always love to see where everyone else creates! Today, mine is in production mode.....come to think of it.......every day....it's in production mode! Anyway, I have 4 quilts that need binding attached hanging over the longarm bars, binding that needs to be pressed on the ironing board and the tv on my cutting board (where it always is)......everything is ready to go! I admit that I love to sew......more than anything else. If I don't get to sew a seam a day.......I'm "restless".

Keep those pictures coming everyone.......it makes us feel like we are visiting you in your happy place!
