Thanks all for the encouragement. I finished the reverse applique tonight - hopefully the rest of the block will go a little quicker.
Deecee - I was wondering how you were coming with this project. So much for our grand plans to work ahead on this and PH! I think I did one PH block ahead of time before I was out of touch for the month of May... Now I'm behind on that project and falling behind on this one! Yikes - time to get to work!

Lara - I started the OATH blocks late so I could get more of PH done and not have too much overlap. Plus time out to organise baby shower etc. for first GB.
I didn't want to do my head in with too much at once.
Does that make me sound a bit whimpy?

Then you have to cut the black down the middle between the two lines. If your block is enlarged, you have enough to tuck under. If you are working with a 7in block, you might consider making the two lines just a little further apart if you are worried that you won't have enough to turn under. Either way, don't cut down the middle all the way round, just an inch or two at a time, and I had two needles on the go, so I could stitch along both sides before I cut the next section.
