This shows the block from the back side.

I decided against appliqueing a thin piece as I'm doing the original size 7" block & I felt it might be too thin to stitch on both sides of it, so I did it this way.

Thanks Kathy - that is really helpful to see. My blocks are 12", so it might be OK to simply "regular" applique the entire thin piece. I'll have to see when I get to it - but now I have an option!

Yes, Kathy..that was exactly what I did on mine. I think with a little larger block (or more room on a smaller one), you could do the reverse applique just fine...but this was such a tight turn!

Here is my Block 10, the reverse applique wasnīt all that bad.

Its okay but I am not thrilled with this one, liked my first one better, could be the colours, but its staying now.

Might be a bit blurry, sorry for that

Elle, I think its great, AND I like the colours. I suspect it will be the same as Jane at the end of the day, they will all blend into on cohesive whole (big word at the end of the day, LOL)

Yes it is a big word, especially remember I didnīt go to bed till 3am and I am still going strong.

I am enjoying pickingout the colours, its much easier with the black believe me.

Elle....it looks great to me! I think they will all sparkle like jewels on that black when you get them all put together and laid out.
