I finished my block #21 this morning and I am so anxious to start on Block #20, but I also need to take a break and sew the binding on my DGS quilt. I think AOTH is going win this time! :D :D :D

Okay, here's my block #21. I didn't get the look I was hoping for because the floral print that I fussy cut for the petals was too small. Oh well, it's finished, and now I'm working on the demon block!!!!

I agree. It is amazing how the different fabrics and colors make the same blocks look different and at the same time, all so pretty.
I can't tell you how thankful I am to have found this group and how excited to have joined.

Losie and Patty, I love both your blocks. And I agree, it's amazing how different the same blocks look with just the changes in fabric.

Thanks, Patti. I think I've probably done over 1000 leaf shapes in my quilty lifetime. I find them so very easy, especially if you beef up the taper to make it not so thin at the taper

I'm getting fairly good at the points on the leaves and the outty points on the hearts...still struggling with those thin tapered points on the scroll type shapes though

I know what you mean...Block #9, I did ok with the hearts and thought, whew! I'm doing ok...then I go to #10 and those pointy leaves...or at least I made my green, so I'm calling them leaves.
I was handsewing and me and those pieces nearly got into a
    rawballing fight!
I have one that is an "iffy".
Iffy it comes undone, I'm gonna replace it!
I'm gonna start using the glue, I've tried many other things...freezer paper and glue next.
This is all stretching me and I can say, I'm quite stretched already, lol! - :XD:
