i did a little research to verify what the difference is between an irish chain, a double and a triple. i expanded on that to design a sextuple. ended up with a septuple.

i guess at this point it isn't really an irish chain. but i'm too lazy to name it something else.

That is fantastic ... you all make me want to quit my job and do nothing but quilting ... but then how would I pay for material? :D

what can i say except that i am jealous about your free motion quilting. i just zig and zag all over the quilt cannot seem to get the movement right for a design

i love it. and we all know it passes the close-up test. and the design in the center of the white area is perfect (how did you do that?) and how many chains does it have anyway? just your usual beautiful work  .

This was good for first try. I like how this quilt came out. I have had that fabric with the birds and neer thought to do something like that with it. Nice job. Quilting is good too!

Wow. Just wow. Like others, you have completely inspired me to take out the triple irish chain that I started...oh...five years ago! The only quilt my Hubby has specifically asked for and it is an UFO!
Fantastic work! :) Thank you for the kick in the butt!
