lovely quilt and i also like the dust ruffle :wink:
i have used homespun quite a bit in rag quilts. i haven't had any colors run and shrinkage was minimal if any.

I don't think you will have a problem the dust ruffle matches by the way.

Thanks for all the compliments and help . I was happy to see the site that sells the Synthropol. I had heard about that product but had forgotten the name. I'll definetly get that when I need to wash it , right now I need to quilt it !

I would have used that dust ruffle, but my daughters bed doesn't need one .

Beautiful quilt Mary and welcome from Washington. Never had any trouble with homespun in my rag quilts.

Awesome quilt - perfect dustruffle with it. Guess you wouldn't consider buying your daughter a bigger bed so that she could use the dustruffle, right?

That is just beautiful! I sure hope you don't have any problems with it shrinking and running. You just never know until you do it. Thats the bad part. I don't know about using the poly batting. I wish you good luck with it though, its way too pretty to have anything happen to it!
