It's a beautiful quilt and good luck at the fair. I have tried crazy quilting and I just can't get it; don't know why, but just can't. Guess I need to try again because I really like crazy quilting. Thanks for sharing.

Such a creative, unusual crazy quilt. Each block is so well designed and can be enjoyed for itself and as part of the whole quilt. You have a winner.....unless a judge only likes the usual take. But this quilt may even sweet talk someone like that into appreciation. Do keep us up to date on the results in the Fall. We will look forward to that.

Thank you so much for all the kind words everyone!
Sadly, I don't know any other quilters personally so no one really 'gets it', but I knew you guys would understand my excitement.
I'm not really expecting a ribbon, though it would be nice. I already got one from kountrykreation (thank you!), so that's good enough for me.
I have a husband and kids, therefore, I need therapy and sewing is way cheaper than a psychiatrist.

Really nice! I love that each block is surrounded in white. It makes each one stand out and a piece of art in itself.

I must admit I'm not a crazy quilt admirer, but your 'controlled' version is absolutely wonderful. I'll have to do one myself now, and I didn't think I'd ever want to! Please post some up close pics so we can admire those, too -- your quilt is lovely!
