What a beautiful crazy quilt. I have been wanting to make one of these and now even more so. I hope you win as it is a winner in my eyes. Good luck.

Anyway, after 2 years, she's done! And she came out much better than I thought she would. It looks SO much better in person than it does in this pic, but here goes anyways. Ya'll have no idea how excited I am to have finished! lol. Her name is "The Wishful Garden".
I hemmed and hawwed about showing it, but I know everyone here won't be too hard on me. . .I hope?

Oh, and ever single thing used for/on this quilt (except my sewing machine) came from clearance/yard/garage sales. I'm as proud of that as anything.
She'll be headed to the fair this fall - wish me luck, please!
I love your work. I too enjoy crazy quilts. Thank you for the pic.

It is beautiful! I always wanted to make one. I have been saving material, buttons, trims, etc for years. Maybe one day ---

What a gorgeous work of art out of re-purposed fabric and trims. Congrats on a job well done. I wish you great success in your fall showing. Thanks for sharing.

Thank you! I only have an old camera that doesn't take very good pictures, I'll give it a try anyways, but I'll ask my daughter when she comes home sometime to take pics for me with her phone - the phone takes better pics than my camera - go figure!
I have a husband and kids, therefore, I need therapy and sewing is way cheaper than a psychiatrist.
