Great Grandmother's 1930's quilt top
#31
What an amazing treasure. I also received boxes of antique quilts several years ago. Since I only hand quilt, my option was pretty clear and I really liked the idea of continuing a tradition from so many years ago.
I hope you enjoy countless hours working on this beautiful quilt; it is beautiful already!

What a wonderful treasure you have in that quilt. I LOVE old quilts and quilt tops. When I hold them I like to think that maybe the lady who made it knows that I am caring for her work. I have a couple that need quilting, and I will be doing that some time in the future.
I have one old very small crazy quilt that my grandmother made. I need to share it with my daughters so they know what it is we have.
