He should get to 11 pounds...but my other mini dachshund weights 14, which is sort of fat for a mini...lol.

Of course your new puppy should have his own quilt! And it's a lovely one you've made for your adorable new puppy!

Our pup would have his own quilt if he wasn't a chewer - when he's excited / stressed / afraid he chews whatever is available - which means he needs a new blankie for his crate every couple of months. If he ever grows out of this habit, I will make him a quilt for his crate instead!

LOL! Love your dogs' names. Too cute- and I LOVE the quilt. I just made a little quilt for a dog I was babysitting so I don't think you're pathetic at ALL.

I don't have to make quilts for my cats because they just sleep in my stash. LOL!

After seeing Sir Macoroni..I'm in LOVE....and yes HE DESERVES his own quilt (which by the way is really cool) :)
I love your names too :):)...this coming from a person who has two bassett hounds (Bert and Ernestine :)). LOL

I don't think its weird...I have all the material in my closet to put together one for our spoiled puppy dog (my Avatar).

That is the cutest puppy face I have ever seen!!!!!

The quilt is really cute. I am not a big fan of browns, but this one really works.
