Thanks so much. I am glad you like the way I write. Somes times you can type my name into 'search tool' and find a few things that are out there on the internet that I've written.

I have made one boy doll. I plan more for the smaller kids. I will make them jeans and cut up on a sweater for a sweatshirt and beanie cap.

In case of the boys, I don't do a flip cap. I put a sleep face on one side and when it is turned to the back a smiling face.

    SORRY...meant to say I don't do a flip doll...not a flip cat.

Sorry that must have been quite the typo.

Thanks. It is just something I feel needs to be done, and in retirement, it is one of the things i give a priority to doing. Lost freinds and family to cancer...so it is a pay forward time for me.

Hugs and God Bless you and yours

A very sweet person who is herself a cancer survivor asked me to send her my pattern, so she could sew for the little ones with cancer. It went out in the mail today. I made a home made design of my own.

Hope the instructions weren't clear as mud when she receives them. ggl

Thanks for replying to me here.

You are a very beautiful lady with a heart of gold. You did a fantastic job, and I am sure it will be faster in time with the more you sew them. Please keep being the angel you are, in bring a smile to those wonderful children. May God bless You and your family. Penny

Thanks so much for the kindness of your words. I too hope the doll beomes a symbol of companionship and happiness for each child able to get one.

I plan to keep making them as often as I can and sending them on their way.

Here is the most recent doll made of donated fabric I've had for awhile. I took the picture before I realized that I hadn't done her brown eyes. giggling.

Guess I best go do that. This is another doll that will go out to a child with cancer.

You are beyond welcome. I believe in the pay forward in whatever area it can be applied too. Each day can be a giving day in some way...or at least that is how I feel. I have empysema from smoking for 35 years (quit in 1990) but found day before yesterday that I only have 35% of the use of the clusters in the lungs that proceess air into the red blood cells for use by the body. Instead of just Oxygen at night, I am now supposed to use it during the day (most of the time) as well.

It isn't going to slow me down if I can help it. I can't do things on a large scale, but I can make a difference and intend to do that. God bless you and yours.

Thanks for saying that. That was nice. I just do what I am able to do.

My mom taught me all her life, about caring for ones fellow man. If I measure up to the love she had in one little finger, I'll have become a good person.

    God Bless you and yours.

What a terrific gift! The blessings you "sew" I'm sure you will also reap!
