I think it came out looking great, a job well done! Now you will have a family heirloom that can be enjoyed for years to come.

Oh just wondering did it come with any accessories?

I must have missed the photos somehow, I see a Singercraft Fagoter and the stripper that goes with it(long rod), if the foot that is next to it is the foot for it then you have a very desirable complete attachment. The last one I saw on Ebay went for $165 with the instructions for it.

You did VERY well in you purchase!

People "back then" really knew how to take care of things, didn't they?
I have purchased two "old" machines in cabinets and was totally blown away by how complete their accessories were.
Found them at thrift shop ... hmmmm ... almost twenty years ago ... one was priced $35, the other one was $45 ... hubby wanted one, I wanted the other one, and he lovingly did not make me throw a temper tantrum ... we walked out with BOTH for $60 ... have only used one once, and don't have room for either one in the bunkhouse, but I do know where they are <g> ... and someday ....
didn't mean to hijack your celebration, Shadow ... I am just so pleased for you!
