We have been very fortunate with the weather this Winter....really nothing much - and it's been a long time since we have had anything in snow accumulation...I'm very happy about that - I hate snow and Winter in General...but I can take the other 3 seasons without much effort :-)

I'm sure there are bunches of people here (including me) who would gladly give you some of our snow....you know how we all like to share what we have...

    Hey Bill,
That is a beautiful area! And yes, now that you mention it...I do see the iceberg! Wow! That's spectacular! Are you close enough to get a glimpse of the Northern Lights? I bet you miss your 'home', it seems to suit you just fine! But I've heard many great things about Montreal. Maybe one day you could plan one of those "Quilter's Trips", I bet you know all the quilting hot spots in Montreal and all through Canada! Thanks for sharing!
    Kind Regards,
    MaryAnna

    Hi Mary Anna,,,
Thanks...it is a great place...heh, if enough people were interested we could plan a Canadian Quilting Adventure here in Montreal - who would like to come North? :-)

    Everyone,
For this monthly row project, I am also trying to make this project completely from Scraps...for January and February I am fine - let's hope I will have the other necessary colors :-)

I too am going to make it all from my stash. Reds are a problem, unless I go to the burgundy reds. I guess that would be OK.

I would love to go to Montreal....I live here in Canada and yet have never been that far east...only to Ottawa! We should do a retreat or something.

Your's look great, Chewboo!! :)

I'm starting mine tomorrow! I'll be finishing up my DDIL's quilt top tonight, don't have the backing for it yet, or material yet for my DS's quilt, so have time to sneak this in! :) :)

Ooooh! I'd sign up for that! I have a photo of the main altar of Notre Dame de Montreal on my wall. My paternal ancestors attended that church. Of course, je m'appelle Gabrielle Lamarche. Je fait la genealogie. Thank God for the excellent French historical records!
