    Yes,
Summer is very hot...we can often get into 30C and low 30's during the summer months.....we have beautiful summers here......we could all have a quilting picnic... :-)

I live in Canada but I would have to come south as well as east. Can we hold the retreat in the spring or fall so I could fit in a Hab's game? :-D

Ok, We really should try to plan something - I would seriously work to organize an event if there was enough interest.....it would be a blast to organize a Quilt Retreat.... :-)
    And Janie,
You will surely be able to get to see the Habs here. :-)

Question on the snowflakes: Are you all using the same fabrics for all 9 of the snowflakes, or are you using a variety?

    Hey Lockeb,
Yes, let's plan the Canadian Quilting Vacation, but not in the middle of winter.... Let me know what you come up with, meanwhile more pictures of beautiful Canada would be great!
I'm hoping to start the Claudia's BOM soon. And I can't wait to see your blocks!
    Kind Regards,
    MaryAnna

I feel the pressure mounting with the BOMS. I just finished a sewing project late last night. And I've cleaned the sewing room. Now it's time to start the BOMS. Hopefully I'll be on tract by the time the next one comes out! I'll post a picture when I'm done with each row. Keep cracking that whip on us all, otherwise we might get distracted!
    Kind Regards,
    MaryAnna

Thought maybe if I put it in writing I would be more inclined to see this one through to the end. I have completed the first two rows and look forward to seeing the completed project. Add me to the growing list of BOMers.

Yup, greens sound about right for March!

I'm bringing fabrics with me to retreat this weekend and hope to get all of January and Feb done. Will post pictures after retreat.

The directions (last line) for the hearts says, "Then join to first row". I guess it could change for future months, but January to February is a go.
