Oma66, It's a beautiful sampler. The black would make it pop.
Thanks for sharing. Eiltcoq. |
Your work is awesome. Take a little break and then go back. You'll be glad you did.

that is very pretty. I agree with some of the above - put it aside for a while.

Really pretty blocks, go ahead & finish it, you will be happy with it when it is done.

Its looking good from my seat! I think we all have projects we start all fired up only to dread later having to keep at it. I have discovered that taking a break, starting or finishing a smaller piece (tabletopper) breaks it up, you get to work with NEW fabric and also you get instant results. Then I am ready to go back to project A. A queen sized quilt is a big undertaking. I have done two full sized quilts and half a dozen twins and many lap and wall quilts (my favorites to do). I get too impatience to finish the bigger ones. You have done an impressive job so far.

I have one in my closet on a shelf. Don't know if I will ever feel motivated to finish it. Yours will be beautiful when you get it done. Keep plugging

That is going to be beautiful. I love the colors. Please don't stop now. You will love it and be glad you finished it when it's done.

It happens to us all! Sometimes it just takes so long to finish a quilt, and we have looked at it and stressed over it so long we are sick of it. When that happens to me, I make myself finish it...for two reasons. I know if I don't, I won't go back to it and also, I know that once it is finished, I will probably love it. The relief of finishing is worth the price of dragging on, in my opinion. But then, I am weird. I have no UFOs, I finish one project before allowing myself to start on another because chances are if I don't, I will never go back.
I think it is gorgeous. Be sure to post pics on the happy day it is finished! Michelle G. in El Paso |
