I have quilts stored in pillow cases with a plastic archival quality page protector attatched to the pillow case. In the sleeve I put a picture, the documentation and apraisal. Who knows what computer software there will be in the future or if the kids will take the time to read it all when the time comes to downsize or clean out. (I have had to clean out 2 homes so far and know the task is a bit daunting). Good info for a power point but IMHO hard copy is also useful.

What a gorgeous quilt. How lucky your mother kept it and took care of it for you. I have two quilts my mother in law made in her youth and I treasure them and use them!! They are a bit shabby but I don't care, they remind me of her and what a wonderful lady she was.
