What a wonderful wedding gift from your Great Grandmother and your mother. Something to treasure and later to pass onto future generations.

I have a book on Tennessee quilts that was put out in the '80's. I'll check to see if there is an ongoing project of quilt documentation for the state. I'm also in the process of making a power point of family quilts and quilts that I have made. That way my kids will have the information.

does it give you chills thinking of the history and the connection you share w/ previous generations? It does me.

I hope there is a label on the back of the quilt sharing that story. If not, put one on there so that future generations will know the story.

Powerpoint is great, but when i think of where technology has come, how do you know if they'll be able to access it in 50 yrs...
