I have polyester lap quilts but they are just the ole squares nothing fancy like yours. How much that patient must of liked it to go threw all that trouble of trying to get it and keep it. Glad you found it and glad you have a piece of dad to take with you where ever you go.

No, but I have a pillow my great aunt made me when I went to college. I'm down to recovering it because I wear holes in the ticking, I'll beth every bit of fuzz is off the feathers but I still use it every night and it does travel with me.

It's not an ugly quilt but rather a quilt made with love, received with love and still honored with love. Nothing that has that much love could ever be considered ugly. What a treasure!!!

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder!
Your quilt has beauty! Give it a hug!

I don't think it is ugly at all. It is attractive and meaningful. The patient who stole it had an ugly attitude, however. Not every quilt needs to be a prize winner. Many just need to spread hugs.

THERE IS NO UGLY QUILT. EVERY QUILT HAS A STORY AND SOMETIMES THE BEAUTY IS IN THE STORY----NOT THE PIECES OF FABRIC THAT MAKE THE QUILT
