I still don't understand why it's not from this site. So many of you have gotten it. I go all over the place online and have not gotten anything remotely like this from anywhere else.

I had to send my computer to my son for him to fix it because of that virus! It's this long process you have to go through to fix it, and I'm just not that computer savvy, and I get frustrated when it won't do what I want it to, then I have to get away from it or I'm afraid I'll break it! LOL!

    Unhappy computer virus

Every time I have been on this board this week I have gotten a warning that a virus is attacking my computer. Did this happen to anyone else. I had to clean my computer 3 times this past week.

Yes, it happened to me right after I opened the first thread, I think, Monday or Tuesday. A warning from 'Windows' was displayed saying that a virus was attempting to ?something?--- and recommended that I clean, or fix it. (something like that) I ran a virus scan and the report indicated it fixed what ever was there. I have had this happen once before on this site, but it has been quite a while. Any other time I am notified of a virus attempt, it comes from my 'Nortons' program.

Yes, I reported this on Monday...actually this has been happening to me from this site for over 3 months... Just be careful and alert to the chance that someone is trying this stuff this quite often of late...

Somehow this virus has been become attached to this website. I close out my internet connection and sign off my computer without responding to any pop-up. My protection program (I use Kapersky) clears it out. I then sign back to the computer in 5 minutes or so, run a scan to insure that my firewall is in place and working correctly. It has been happening 2 -3 per week. I keep hoping that website operators will get it fixed from their end soon. It is bothersome, but it is happening on many websites.

Happens to me every time I come, too. My Norton gives me a pop up that it is serious, and was blocked. I do hope they get it off the site so it doesn't harm anyone's computer.

My Norton has been working overtime this week blocking the virus on this board. It's annoying.
