I had a bonus UFO completion in May. I went down to my quilting room to just sandwich the quilt but then started SID thinking I could get a couple of rows done. A couple hours later I was completely done. Added and tacked down the binding in another evening. This is so wonderful. I am making great progress in getting all my tops completed.

jward, I love your quilt and the pattern. Was wondering what size your squares are. It looks like it would be pretty fast to make. Did you use charms?

Like your UFO in 30's prints. I have one very similar in my UFO pile in KTroubles fabrics.

I finally have a finish...the blocks were made by ladies here on the board who have become friends. We did a block swap and these were the ones I got in return. The block is called "Friendship Circle". I got all the blocks quilted in March, then didn't sew a couple months. I was able to get the borders on, do the remainder of the quilting, and add the binding this weekend. I do QAYG if it sounds funny to some that I quilted the blocks before adding the borders.

jwardknits, I really like your quilt.... really nice. I love the stars that form from aligning the blocks. At least, that's what it looks like. I sketched the blocks out so I can perhaps copy the pattern if you don't mind. I love stars but don't make them very often because I'm afraid the points won't turn out like i want them to. I might try this, though. It's really cute.
jvineyard, welcome in..... I'm sure you'll have lots of UFOs done in no time. And, we'll cheer you along as you get them finished.

Yeah Carriem!!! Another finish!! You really amaze me..... QAYG??? ... would love to know how you do this. I've never tried it but am so tempted to. It has to be easier than struggling with a huge quilt on my SM. I don't have a LA so I have to fight with fabric..... Arghh!! I've not done a swap either. ... Yours is super.... love it.

I didn't get much finished in May as I was away on a cruise. I did finish a baby quilt that was a UFO for a couple of years. It's all finished and has binding on all but one corner. I'm waiting for the baby's birth so I can put the name,
Birthday, and weight.
