Great quilts, Erin.

Walking out of Joann without fabric is quite an accomplishment, tkhooper.

I am STILL working on the log cabin blocks - 42 left to sew step 1. Then on to step 2. sigh!

Busted and a little thump! Was going to post about my few purchases at Houston Quilt Festival and will do later but the thud you heard was my posting about the 3 hour sale over at Homestead Hearth - $3 for fabric, patterns,... I did buy a few yards as minimum was 1 yd per fabric. It is to split with my friend who hosted me during quilt show and to finish a project. And some for blenders... not bad ... now the sound is lessening....

Here are my Houston Quilt Festival purchases. The dark on the bottom is a sewing room wallhanging kit. On top of the dark kit are two 1 yd. cuts and then 12 Neutral FQs. I did get an appliqué/embroidery pillow pattern, Appliquick turning tool and some needles- not pictured here. I had my list and other than the kit I stuck to the plan.

That's not a bad haul, AUQ. Those neutrals looks so clean.

AU those neutrals are truly yummy. I think I'm neutral blind, I never seem to find anything that beautiful when I go looking for neutrals. Oh wait this is supposed to be the Moratorium thread, can I say that on here?

AUQ those fabrics are lovely and way to stay strong at the festival. I think one unplanned purchase is great restraint.

Emma you're safe. We won't tell ; )

Neutrals are my kryptonite. I am constantly drawn to them (and buying them), rationalizing that 'they will go with anything'. This is true, except I seem to be a neutral collector! AUquilter, I'm just drooling over your purchases.
We are in the home stretch. I can't believe that this Friday is Black Friday!

That is a scary thought. Black Friday is on the horizon. And I'm manic when I really spend money. I've been trying to stay home so I don't spend. I already have so much I really don't need anything.

I'm doing better, I only bought 7 yards of gray fabric For Bonnie Hunter's mystery quilt and another project I'm doing. All the other fabric I had in my stash. I did go crazy for buying dies for my new studio2 cutter. I will be cutting up a storm next 2 months.

I also used my stashed for several swaps on the board. Secret Santa swap, secret pal swap, Halloween - sun bonnet sue swap and the holiday swap (Christmas block swap). I figured out I have a lot of fabric to make lots of quilts and quilt projects. So I really like this site. Thank-you for hosting the site.

Happy Thanksgiving everyone who celebrates this holiday. Happy sewing and quilting for those who don't. 😊

Tjtrooper, I just schedule myself (actually my boss did), to work on Black Friday. It saves me lots of money and frustration. All the stores are closed when I get home. Then I stay away from the Internet.
