Yes TK it makes a lot of sense. Although I am always just a touch embarrassed by my stash I love the fact that I can shop at home. Case in point I made Bonnie Hunter's Orca Bay, Celtic Solstice and Grand Illusion totally from stash an that includes backs. Also made many others totally from stash but since BH's are so well known figured they would be good examples.

Was wandering around town walking and burning some time and found a quilt shop I had never been in. I do not look for them. Prices were high so I felt good not buying then found the sale fabric. Thankfully for me they had one yard minimums or I might have spent a fair bit. I did buy from the sale fabric some yellow geometric fabric for a planned baby quilt as we just got the word its a boy and I have none of that in my stash (Its what mom and Dad wanted) and I got a yard of a Lovely line fabric that will allow me to finish another planned quilt that and one pattern I did not do too bad. Made several burp rags all from Stash so used but a fair bit of flannel

Altairs: You did really well. All purchases were for projects already planned. Which means absolutely no demerits.
OK: So glad you provided pictures. Love your choice of fabrics. Some lucky quilter is going to go bonkers.

I made 2 fabric baskets following a Nancy Z show instructions and have been filling the big basket with goodies--a sewing machine mat with pockets, a small project clutch, a selvage chicken pin cushion, a bag of selvages with an online pattern to use with them, a set of four scrappy note cards, a Eye Spy quilt pattern with charms included to make it, a copy of the All Iowa Shop Hop magazine and a fabric kit of one of the patterns, a used needle catcher, and hope to make a small needle case yet. LQS is adding some notions to include.

Can you think of anything else sewing related to add that's quick and a quilter may like? I wasn't planning on pot holders etc as I wanted to keep it more quilt related.
That sounds like a great basket - is it a raffle? How about a lanyard and small scissor perhaps? I've taken a 'giveaway' lanyard and covered it with cute fabric.

No Sherry, not a raffle, but a Silent Auction in the 4-H building..Thanks for the ideas, but I dropped it off at Ext Office Friday.
