2015 UFO Challenge of the Month
#841
Hello there! Thank you to Sandy for posting about next year's UFO Challenge. Sandy's given me some tips and I hope to do a good job keeping track of your finishes. As the not-so-proud owner of quite a few UFOs, I'll be participating as well and drawing inspiration from next year's participants. I look forward to a fun time as your conductor for 2016. I hope many of you will continue on in January!
I'll establish a new thread on December 31 so come first thing January 1, you'll have a place to post. I look forward to seeing you there! In the meantime, I hope you enjoy the holidays and are able to sneak in a little (or a lot) of quilting time!

Evie, with your 3 finishes (please post pics when you can but I counted them for this year) our total is now 277. AUQuilter, looking forward to two bound quilts from you and pics. You still have more than a week to go. LOL! zozee, with your 4 the total now stands at 281! You all are awesome. Can you imagine if all these finishes were in a pile, what a huge pile that would be! 281!!!

OK, here are the three quilts I finished.
This one was actually a new project, so I guess it doesn't really belong in the UFO category. Really don't mean to "pad" my completions.

This was the QB's Mystery Quilt Train Ride #6 from January 2014!

This last one was from QB's Mystery Quilt Train Ride #2 from May 2012!

Evie, What lovely finishes and thank you so much for sharing pictures. I did include those 3 in the count but we all want to see everyone's work and glad you posted. And even though you had one 'new' one...in my mind, it was still a UFO because it was not finished. Now that it is, it is no longer a UFO! Works for me!

Just a note as I don't know where else to put this. To those of you who knew and loved 'Brat', I am sad to say that she passed away. They had to take her off dialysis because of complications. She was such a wonderful member of this community. Hope I can be half the person she was. Sad. :-(

The rest of my 2015 finishes...finally!
I hope these aren't too big. My camera is not working (hope for a new one for Christmas) so I did have to post a flimsy pic and an "in progress" pic but I swear these UFOs are quilted, bound, done, done done!
The last three are the only ones that had patterns. The batik double bali star wedding is the one I am most excited about getting done. It has been in and out of a project box for 5 years and now gets to live in the light of day.... lol
Sorry for the bad pics, you can see the downward progress of the camera taking its last shots.
Thanks for looking, have a great holiday before we start this again in the new year!
