Congrats on the finish. The wonky block is on my 'wanna-try' list.
I like the website www. maryquilts.com
I used her pattern Forest Bricks to make a quilt for my brother.

Here's my latest UFO finish.

I couldn't resist this "Wander" fabric at JoAnns, so I made it into a quilt for our travel trailer. Finished it just in time for our upcoming glamping trip.

The pattern is Twisted Happy Blocks Quilt, a free pattern from MaryQuilts.com. (Check out her website for some great free quilt patterns.) I adjusted the block size to accommodate my fussy-cut squares. DH had a 9" plexiglass square cut for me at a local shop. They only charged him $1, and it was perfect for me to use to square up the blocks.

The quilting is SID and ruler work. I used the Westalee Sew Steady 5.5" Spinning Wheel 36 template to stitch the centers of the blocks.

I also made a couple of pillow covers. I'm going to give one of them to a neighbor.

I am starting a UFO from last year; a Baby's First Year Clothing Quilt for my daughter's friend. Well I got the clothes from her last year. LOL, and I cut them for the quilt, then I got side-tracked with comfort quilts, but mostly with not being able to decide which pattern I wanted to use. Baby is now 2, lol, so I have got to get his done!
My reward will be starting an art quilt for the first time ever! It's my impression of a photo a friend took. I'm excited to try something like this. Rob you are my inspiration!!

Thanks again Anne2016 and Joe'smom (Lisa), for your kind words. Lisa, the very reason I made it a wall hanging. And I gifted to the last great-grand, her mom was never going to use as a quilt.

Leta, (#1079) that baby quilt is darling and the little accents just add to it.

Letwellman, that is absolutely adorable! Love the quilting.

Cherry: OMG those are super terrific. Love the crossstitch most because it is not something I do.

Sophie, those bags are worthy of being finished. Super pretty.

DJ; Super finish!!! And pillows to match the quilt. WOW

two rainy days in a row here = lots of studio time! Somehow I missed all the posts yesterday.

Leta- that is one cute quilt, I love the 3-d effects.

Sophie- nice bags, congratulations on finishing both!

DJ- quilt and pillows too, way to go!

Yesterday I got all the ditching done on my May UFO, might get it done today, depends on how much more quilting I want to do. It's a very busy top and the pieces are small enough that the ditching alone is more than enough quilting for the batting....

DJ, great job on the wonky squares! I made one last year, and the blocks were terribly wonky, in the wrong way. None of them were the right size, so I just trimmed them all down. Fortunately there was still enough space around the edges.

That's a wonderful baby quilt, letawellman! Beautiful quilting!

QM, your bibs are just so stinkin' cute. The expressions on the animals' faces make me smile. The couple looks so happy with that quilt. Good job! And the booties are adorable.
