Way to go, Rryder! Another UFO finish for you and for us. Toot, Toot!

I have a UFO finish for August! It's about 44" square and has been hanging around my studio for several years.

Isn't this pretty Kristakz, congratulations on your UFO finish. We look forward to seeing the other ones, too. Toot, Toot!
I finally finished another UFO! In fact, I have 2 others just waiting for binding, but this one is comletely done and ready to donate. It is at least 2 years old, but I'd have to do some digging to find out exactly when I started it. I remember when I bought the fabric - my very first Kaffe Fassett, and I had no idea what/who I was buying at the time. But it made a great one-block Wonder. I used the green I had hanging around to extend the size a bit, and play with some alternate layouts. And then I realized it was still too small to donate to Victoria's Quilts, so I found some coordinating fabric and added the chevron border on one end. I wasn't sure about it at first (but I was desperate), but it's starting to grow on me.

Congratulations Janice, your swap finish is lovely!
Rob, I think this is one of my favorites of yours. The touches of blue are great in there.
Very beautiful, krista!
Anne, your embroidered quilt is charming!
Way to go, everyone!

Anne, I always admire quilts with embroidery work...not a skill I have acquired.
Not your typical stacknwack setting...very nice, kristakz

Wow, you guys are simply producing some amazing stuff this month. Can't pick a favorite but maybe Krista's creative way with the blocks, setting and edging would edge out. Such a bright, pretty and unique quilt!
So many finishes and I am stuck running to the doctor with stupid health issues that continue to crop up one after another. A CT scan for abdominal issues found an area of concern in my lung so now I am going to a pulmonary specialists. I told DH I don't mind helping to support the area specialists but I think I am doing someone else's share also. I have already been sent by my GI docs to the Cardiologist and Hematologist. Now the Lung people.. sheesh, who's next?
I have not neglected quilting altogether, just my UFOs. LOL I made a game on Facebook wherein I gave away a quilt of the same to the first person who could guess what color fabric I had the most of in my stash (cuz I seem to like getting it but not using it). The winner guessed (brown) so I am now making a brown with blues, Churn Dash quilt to give them. I suppose one could consider having stacks of never used brown fabrics UFOs. LOL
Also, my grandson is coming on Sunday so I can help him make a weighted quilt to help him when he is dealing with his Autism issues. He is independent and doing well, but some days just needs a little extra comfort which this quilt will help provide!
