And Rob, your whole cloth is way cool. Don’t even really like sewing apparel with fabric that slinky.

Rob, please never tired of receiving complements because I think your work is gorgeous and the 'grandma's silk whole cloth sampler is awesome. Thank you for sharing with us your beautiful work.
Trying my best to be a part of VQW and get some things done, but, life keep playing it's part, at least the weather is nice. Thank GoODness there can always be a tomorrow. Have a good evening.

Yesterday, worked on the mystery...today, sewed the top together. Just need to do borders...still thinking about that. Gonna be gone for 2 days but will hit it when I return..

Love the wholecloth mini Rob, yeah that slippery fabrics is not easy to quilt on. On my recent formal gown, I used Bethanne Nemeshe's beaded binding on it, hand work, but looks good.
Alletaire is beautiful!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I actually got to quilt on longarm and finished a quilt, just needs binding to count. Will be this month I am hoping. We shall see.

QM, I know exactly how you feel about that binding, I have four tops that are sandwiched and domestic quilted and waiting for the binding. Sometimes that alone can be a challenge. Thu, I did finish the doll quilt yesterday, so that means I need to start on the other three. I didn't get what I wanted completed during VQW, but, I did get a start. Working on a UFO for today, and hopefully it will be a finish for February. Have a productive day everyone.

Doing the binding isn't my favorite either. Once I get it quilted, I'm so close to the end and want it finished, I make myself do it right then so I can enjoy it.

Ok, this must be a productive day cause I did finish that binding on that UFO that was started in the fall of 2016 and held all of last year waiting to be domestic quilted, so that was completed yesterday and today the binding was completed. Have a look see, and then on to other one waiting to be DQ'd. Sorry, I can't show the pix of the completed bind charity quilt, need to learn to delete some pix off the file. Maybe in another pix later on, but it is completed.

Good for you cherry! Now handstitching is one of my favorite parts of making a quilt. Something contemplative about slowing down and finishing a project for me.
Rumor has it that instead of getting a finish...Kristakz has created a new UFO out of stash fabric...but if it hasn't been laying around long, maybe it is still considered a WIP, right now
