2019 UFO Challenge
#305
Thank you. She was a master quilter and when she passed away, my brother did not know what to do with all of her stash, books, templates and so on. I just took it all. Emptied her quilting room into my car a couple of times over and then began to sort. I found a number of unfinished projects and a life time of fabric from scraps to 10 yard cuts. That was about 17 years ago. I am still working through her fabric. My mission for this year is to get some of the UFO's done and that sweet little baby quilt came to the surface and called to me. I am proud to be using her blocks and although I will not reach her level of expertise, my skills have bloomed as I transitioned from garment maker to quilt maker.

Sewbiz....love love love this quilt!! It really appeals to me. Thanks for the info. Never heard of Quilted Twins..
WMU...you are definitely honoring her, her skill and her love of the craft. I have seen your quilts so don't sell yourself short on skill level.
I have started to quilt my WIP so it doesn't turn into a UFO and started a new quilt...plus a mini PP project. It's fun to bounce between WIP's but is a bit risky to ensure one completes them all. I'm definitely pushing my limit.
