I hope you are doing fine now Kalama, that must have been so hard!

For those who have family this is a busy time, but I understand Bonnie's reasoning. Also, it encouraged me to get my things together and get the crafty gifts done in time this year, so I have a clean table for Allietare!

My fabrics all washed and most ironed. I hope I have enough grey....

I won't be able to start this until Monday because we are traveling to family. So there will be a lot of suspence until I can get home and get started, I will peak in on Friday though!
I have decide to take a big jump and change the red to rust or even some Kaffe F charms that I have, when I look at the photos of Italy I see so many colors I want to take a chance with them. I also don't like red.
Forgive my messy sewing room I have been very busy in there and I'm packing to leave right now so this is on the fly. see everyone soon.
Wow those photos are huge!

Awesome choices Windblown. I almost used my piece of that batik, you know which one I'm talking about I'm sure. Anyway it bleeds just a warning, I don't ALWAYS prewash, but that one will need it.

Windblown, I'm glad you're going with what you like. I love your neutrals -- such a nice variety!

Thanks for the reminder to get my fabrics washed and ironed! I will have family here until Saturday but will be looking at it soon thereafter.

Do you think Bonnie might put the first clue up early (tomorrow) as a surprise? I'm going to be watching!

I've just finished washing my fabrics and now I've decided I don't like some of my fabrics, lol. I get to go shopping again. My yellow/golds are just not right now. Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

Hello everyone. I'm joining in again this year. I have done Easy Street, Summer Solstice and Grand Illusion and love them all. I'm working on James Town Landing out of Bonnies book and have almost got all of my fabrics for this years MQ. I am happy to go with Bonnies colours especially after a clever lady posted the DMC colours which we get in Australia. I love seeing every ones quilts and progress photos. Enjoy everyone, remember its a mystery

I'm looking forward to doing Bonnie' new mystery Last year's Grand Illusion was my first. Although I was a bit skeptical, unsure and out of my comfort zone with the colours, by the end, I loved the final results! Not only had I learned many useful tips and increased my skills, I also had a lot of fun!! Thanks Bonnie!

Tonight I wound bobbins and cleaned my machine. Also worked on finishing another two scrappy trips tops. Tomorrow I'll press my fabric. I'm ready for the first clue.
