Love the pinks!

With 4 matching units, I don't think we can end up with a block as was pictured. Sewn together they would kind of look like a bow or spool, but would be waaayyy larger than anything that Bonnie normally uses.

Haven't started 4-patches yet, but will be able to catch up over the holidays. DD, who will be just over 8 mos. pregnant, wanted to come home. It's a 6 hour drive, with a dog who is a terrible traveler, through the mountains of PA - so I wasn't too keen on the idea, much as I would love to have her here. However, due to a change in medical appointments and a test that needs to be repeated, she won't be coming after all. We are kind of at odd ends, so I find myself one of the folks who will enjoy the distraction of the mystery.

I have enjoyed following everyone's progress and photos. Owning and operating two retail businesses (especially this time of the year) has left me a bit behind but trying desperately to catch up. I finally have finished my 294 HSTs (clue no. 1) tonight and have printed off Clues 2&3. I am in this for the finish... even if it takes me till next June. LOL

Right! It's not a race. I'm actually still working on last year's mystery (Grand Illusion) and need to bind Celtic Solstice. But I'm managing to keep up with Allietare.

#4 is posted! OMG, it's going to be a lot of work! I'm not looking forward to matching those seams/points on the santa hats! I'm going to try a few and if they stress me, I will do my SCARLETT O'HARA and "think about it tomorrow".

gonna post my clue 3 pics before looking at clue 4!

a selection of my 4-patches

a few of everything. I had to redo the seams on two 4-patches, and about a dozen santa hats.

I'm a bit concerned that my yellows blend too much with my neutrals, but hey ho, I'm going to end up with something subtle, which is good too :-).

Off to look at clue 4 now......

And those of us who've substituted different colours have the potential to be even more confused
