Beautiful MacyBaby, love the colors you chose. I especially like the dark center and the "field" in the circle. Good job.

Beautiful top, Cathy! I love your blue and white border. Such a lovely accent!

My Burgoyne Surrounded is on hold until next year. Life has really gotten in the way of my sewing these past few weeks but I'm hoping everything will calm down after the holidays.

Thank you so much jclinganrey, I have loved making this quilt. Mine has taken a back seat to the Bonnie Hunter Mystery but I have everything ready to go to pick it back up in the new year. Love the wide border. May have to add that on.

Thanks, jclinganrey, for posting this quilt pattern. I have had it on my bucket list for quite a while and now one set of quilt blocks are completely done. Hope to post results in the New Year. Happy Holidays to all. High fifes and sunshine makes us happy here.

[QUOTE=Macybaby;8176530]here is my floppy - it may be months before it gets quilted, but it's no longer a box of pieces!

I was hoping for a quilt with a more masculine feel - so I'm happy with how it turned out./QUOTE]

this is fabulous!!! looking forward to seeing it quilted

A little late is better than nothing at all, or so I have heard. My Christmas Burg is laid out on my bed...3 rows of it any how:Name: ChristmasBurg.JPG

Size: 115.4 KB I had fun with it. the red, white and blue are read to sew together as rows then laid together as well. Thanks to everyone who were encouraging on this project.

I did not like the third row middle so I have ripped it up and will redo that block. I love using the plain 5 1/2 inch in the middle. My unique take on it.

Okay here is my version of Burgoyne Surrounded. Added a blue border to tone down all the red.

Wonderful quilt frustratedquilter40, love the blue/red combo. Good choice on the border. Wish I was close to being done. I can say that I moved it out of the way this morning. One of these days, it'll get done.

I love all the quilts that are being done here. I think I am partial to the dark red, but then I really like the total scrappy 30's look but what about the white/cream backgrounds? Once again....too many choices. They are all spectacular!

Size: 112.0 KB I love that navy blue and traditional colors, too! All of you can be very proud of the job you have done so well. Centers in my 'Chritmas' blocks are 5 1/2 inches.

OK, you do a lot of steps everyday. When the time is right, you will finish. Maybe while your sister visits you.
