King size is 115x115 so you would need 4481 sq. inches more.....or several nice borders !!!!!

now my head aches again

I am also concentrating exclusively on this MQ for these weeks. I normally try to do some quilting and applique each day as well as piecing, but these days I just want to work on the MQ.

Everyone's units look great!

Those of you who are checking out the Facebook Open Studio page, lots of people have these little clips in their photos, holding their units together. Does anyone know what these are called; they look very handy to have and I would like to buy some.

Ha! I owned a slide rule too. I wonder what for?? Didn't need it for algebra (I don't think) or geometry so it must have been for Trig. Had a semester of that in high school.

*LOL* I remember using my slide rule for Chemistry. I also remember getting the right sequence of numbers waaaaay too many times with the decimal point in the wrong place.

Kids have it easy today!!!!! Bwahahaha

Did my test piece for #3 last night and my seam was right on. WOO! HOO! I was able to cut the remainder of my strips today so maybe I can get a few units complete tonight. All the ones I've seen posted are looking good. I only have about half each of #1 and #2.

Can't wait for the next clue. I have a lot of aqua and yellow left. I also suspect we might see more of the black and neutral.

Joe's mom: Not sure which clips your are talking about, but the red ones are on sale at Annie's right now. I buy the office supply ones at the dollar store. Something like 5 for a dollar.

Finished clue #3 and just spending some time digging out my sewing room. The creative process sure is messy.

Thanks, Emma S! It looks like they are called Wonder Clips. Since I am currently clipless, I am keeping partially finished units in little baggies.

I have two sets of clue #3 strip units cut and pinned, ready for sewing. I plan to keep constructing the sets and pinning until I run out of pins. I think I will get some sewed by Friday, if not all.

I had a lovely day of sewing and catching up... now have all of clue 2 done! These were so much fun to do. Went together really easy by my method and didn't require trimming! Here is a sampling of my clue 2 blocks. Now on to clue 3!

Oh, so sorry... the site won't upload my photos. They are NOT too big (I checked) but I keep getting an error message saying it's not a valid image file. Since when is a JPEG not a valid photo file???

This sure isn't going to be nearly as fun if I can't share my photos here anymore. I'm using the same camera and computer as always...

It won't be nearly as much fun for us, either, sewbizgirl! It wasn't by any chance a collage photo? I've not had success uploading that type, either. There must be some reason; I hope you can figure it out. Try uploading one of the photos you've already posted, and see if that works.

There are a couple of different posts mentioning that they can't see any pictures today.
Maybe the board is working on things. I see all pictures so don[t know what's up with that.
Try later or tomorrow and maybe things will be back to normal.
