Here are my second set of fabrics for the Mystery Quilt #145. Today I cut most of it out. Judging by what I ran into, this quilt is going to be full of HSTs and geese! Hope it's a pretty one, tho. If I like it I still have my first set of fabrics (all the pinks) to use to make another one.

Vadalia....Love the butterflies!! Awesome fabric A..

sewbiz....gorgeous! You found those in Joann’s? I never find stuff like that there. Lol..

I changed out one of my fabrics in the first option and like it much better. I’m still playing with the kit I’m thinking of ripping apart. I got sidetracked this week. I’ll make a decision this week which way I’m going to go and start cutting..

Whoa, SBG, I love that blue and orange. What super prints, great look. It might be too matchy-matchy, but will look sooo nice.

Very pretty fabrics, sewbizgirl. One of my favorite color combinations.

Thank you all so much for your kind words! I was very relieved to find a fabric that went so well with the colors I'd already picked out (and cut- yikes!) Plus it's got blue in it which my original Fabric A didn't, meaning I have an extra color to play around with if the pattern allows for extra borders or anything. Although when the quilt is done, I'm definitely telling people "yep, picked all those fabrics on the first try and everything!" LOL It can be our little secret that it took about 14 million tries

Irishrose2, oh no! Don't say the S-word!! We've been lucky thus far where I live and that word is banned in my house

sewbizgirl, love those fabrics! I'm normally not a fan at all of orange but that nice peachy-orange color is gorgeous and goes so well with that deep dark blue. It's getting me so excited to see everyone's quilts, can't wait for NYD!

Yes they were JoAnn's Quilter's Showcase, no less... On sale for $4.49 a yard. One of those was from my stash, as will be the neutral.

The Fabric A is directional but I'm okay with that. As the focus fabric I'm guessing it'll stay in larger pieces than the rest which should make it easier to account for the directional aspect. Still not cutting it until I absolutely have to though!

Sharongn, has any of the fabric you ordered come in yet? I'm looking forward to seeing your final choices as well!
Hi vadalia, I LOVE the butterfly fabric! Beautiful choice! I think It will work very well as your border fabric, especially with your other choices.

i haven't received my fabric yet. I'm wait ing anxiously. Lol. It shipped already so I expect to see it any day now. I also ordered a couple other fabrics to play with but don't expect them until next week. The hazards of ordering on line. Yikes! Especially this close to New Years day. My saving grace is, I have the Monday and Tuesday after Christmas off from work so I will have time to do some cutting then. Once I get them and play around, I'll post pictures. It's like Christmas! Oh... wait... It IS. HA!

Oh my... Those are very pretty choices! Love, love, love orange. And with the blue! Awesome!

Edited to add: 4.49 a yard? Wow! That's a super deal.

I'm still waiting on my brown fabric to come in the mail. I want to have my choices cut by early next week, because she's posting part 2 'on or about Christmas Day,' which is next week already. So! It's time to be done vacillating, girls, and go with your final fabric pick! :-)
