Hi Bunniequilter: I would love to be adopted to learn the basics. I've done only one quilt, about 1 1/2 yrs. ago and I've forgotten these basic steps. So please, please, please, adopt me. Matty

Hi BunnieQuilter: If you have not become an adopter yet, I would love to become your adoptee. I'm not very skilled, but I have made a quilt and I have all the toys. I love quilting ever since I experienced it. So Please Adopt Me.

Matty

Hi I am Donna from Tennessee and I am a newbie to this site. I need help also, I have made several quilt tops but I always gave them away. I am wanting to do a single large star quilt for my husband in king size. Any takers out there?

Hi! My name is Dianna and I, too, am a newbie with alot to learn. I just started in May, 2010. I have done some simple blocks/quilts and I am interested in Redwork and embroidery. I am already addicted to fabric and can't stay away from my local quilt shops. I would deeply appreciate it if someone would adopt me. I have tried to stitch in the ditch and did some straight cross-hatch (very simple). I have a Brother sewing machine. This is the first time that I have touched a sewing machine since 1973.

I have a Brother single/double needle straight stitch machine and a Brother home serger. I have a new book on Serging Quilts. I would love to learn more on how to use a serger. I used to sew in a garment factory but I always let the mechanics set the machine. I have bought about 5 books lately on quilting and one of them is on stars.
I have a problem in that I have gained so much weight I can not feel my feet and it is hard for me to use my machines due to not being able to feel the pedal.

I'm a "veteran" quilter and I'm more than willing to help anyone out. I've been quilting about 10 years, so if anyone wants to be adopted just PM me.

I am grandmother and self taught.. so my way might not be the "right" way, but it works for me
