I'm relatively new to quilting this year and this is my first posting here. Would like basics really. Techniques to matching points and not twisting seams when ironing and such.

Here's the page to my blog that shows some finished projects. The blog itself is just an overview of whatever I am doing that moment in time. PM me if there is aproject you would like more info on.

FM is free motion usually refers to FMQ free motion quilting. I really had to work to learn some of them and I have to stop and study some. lol

I have just started quilting this month too..I have been watching the videos on how to bind. Very helpful. I have a bunch of video on my site that can help you. Thriftyideastoday.com - as I find useful video that help me I put the link there.

I've been quilting only since last August (09), but sort of skipped the beginner quilt stage (from what others tell me), but feel I have so much to learn, while at the same time I've been 'teaching' others that are truly brand new to quilting and have never done it, or are stuck.

What I have learned or been taught is via a co-worker and here on the board.

Or am I one that is 'stuck in the middle"?
I will join you is this spot, I started just 2 years ago, borders and mitering get me every time. I an afraid to FM Have no clue on paper piecing, don't wander off the beginner blocks.
