I would love to have a veteran teach me quilting.
Please send me an email as soon as possible, whoever would be interested in sharing tips and ideas.
I am in Memphis, Tennessee. I get to travel and I stop at quilt shops all the time dreaming but I need a mentor.

If you would like to be added to the group activity click on my screen name or icon. Then click on Send PM. That is how you get on the list to be adopted or to adopt others. That way I'll know you want to be added.
Please include what you want to teach/learn and any thing else you consider important.
If you want to check out the membership page for how the adoptions work go to the home page and scroll down until you see group activities then look for the one called, "Quilting Adoptions (help a newbie)", and click on it.

When I get confident, I want to make Bad Quilts. But first, Can you tell me how to attain PATIENCE! I seem to want to start a project now and have it finished yesterday! LOL!

I can help you with a few:
FM = free motion
FMQ = free motion quilting
MQ = machine quilting
PM = private message
PP = paper piecing
FQ = fat quarters
I'm sure there are lots more, but those are a few I know.
Oh, and DH = dear husband, DD = dear daughter, DGS = dear grandson and so forth and so on.
