This world situation has changed our routines for sure. Looking forward to seeing your finish, too, SBG.

Well done, Rob..lovely quilt.

I am sewing some masks for family and friends. They can be used over the n-95 masks to keep them cleaner.

Have also started some tomato, kale, broccoli, and lettuce seeds...won't be in the garden for about a month. Tomorrow supposed to be sunny and warm and plan to do some cleaning up a bit outside.

Grands are home from school so they are here in the mornings until milking is done. They are pretty independent, but have an Easter project with the 11 yo to play with.

No more UFO finish for me for March...Hope to add in April.

sewbizgirl: Thanks for the link. I am amazed at her quilts. So many little pieces and huge quilts. There are a lot more than when I looked last year.

She is the queen of scraps!

Thanks everyone!

Started quilting another UFO on Sunday- not another twofer, it’ll just count as a single finish. I think Ikve used up all the UFOs that are combineable. I’m using the current UFO to try out some ruler quilting designs with a couple of specialty rulers I bought a few years ago. Might have it finished by next week...unless I give in and start working on the Helen Godden couching course I signed up for....trying to stay strong and wait until the UFO is finished and the 2017 BOM I started last month is done.

Rob, please show some close ups of the ruler quilting when you post pictures of that quilt. Would love to see some possibilities...

I proudly announce my first finish of this year: https://www.quiltingboard.com/pictur...e-t310401.html

I made it yesterday, so please count it as a March finish. I wrote about the quilt itself in the thread in the Pictures forum, here I put the info for this thread specifically:

Why it became a UFO: mostly due to technical difficulties. It was a nuisance to work on, there was also moving houses once, and the cut pieces got messed up a bit.

Why I finished: since I had a few UFOs at the end of the year, I decided to work on them starting with those meant for specific people, and only then charity stuff. I made a list and I kept the order. This one was the first thing o the list.

The Quilt's fate: I will give it to my friend's son. The long story is in the thread linked above ;)
