KP I would leave all of them in. The odd man out ones give it punch.

Marcia could you list where to find those DMC numbers? I don't have access to the paint chips where I am. It would really be appreciated. pokey:)

These are gorgeous fabrics, Cathy! Are you using the white/beige on the bottom, too?

To get ready: I decided today that I was going to finally try Bonnie's method for a seam guide using an old 'gift card'. Oh my gosh...can't believe I didn't do this before! It's works like a charm. I used some scrapbooking tape to stick it to my table/machine and sewed a number of things with it. (I'm webbing my MIL Christmas Quilt.) The 'card' makes a great seam guide, but also it's thickness is just perfect for a couple layers of fabric to it's a snap to glide your finger over the card & fabric as you sew.

I'm hooked now! Everything I've learned from Bonnie has just been fantastic. Webbing being my all-time favorite technique.

Ivory 712
Chocolate 938
Aqua 504, 993, 964
Coral 3824, 352, 351

I do not know who posted it but it looks right. I did not get the 964 as they were out, so it is on back order. I think there were two other WOW (white on white) type colors I did not write down as I bought 100 yards of WOW from a fabric dealer on ebay. If you want his info, PM me. I told him 20 different ones, 5 yards each, got them for $3.45 plus shipping per yard.

It was a good move as I can never buy WOW fabrics. If I go to the store to get that, I come home with something colorful. So letting him pick out was better than me.

My Lowe's is too far away to get the paint cards. So I used the $$ I would have spent on gas and bought a pair of prestamped pillow cases to use the floss on.

Hope this helps.

I found my notes, there were two other neutrals: New Ecru and Blanc besides # 712. I just bought 712.

Smart!! :D

I never use Bonnie's paint chips myself. I just look at her color vaulues and go from that in my color choices. This year happened to coincide with the pinks, blues and browns that happened to be over taking my stash anyway.

Count me in for another round. I can't wait! I still have the binding to hand sew for last year's and never did the wave/scallop border on the year before that...and then there's Orca Bay, still on step 2! Eeek!!
