Well, the last three days have been spent ripping off all of the setting triangles and redoing them. My need for closure kicked in and I could not stand the fact the the boxes created by the simple sashing I substituted for the chevron sashing created boxes that abruptly ended at the setting triangles. So, I cannibalized the blocks I didn’t include for extra shaded four patches, cut a few extra “coral” triangles, used them in the setting triangles, which meant also recutting the aqua, added a third triangle to fill out the bottom, and pieced the top. Thought about using the chevrons in the border, but changed my mind. It is supposed to be an twinX, and it is already 60x108 or so. So, no borders, just a binding. The chevrons will go on the back along with the other extra blocks.

Krisb, that is beautiful! It takes on a whole new look with your new sashing! I like it a lot.

Cathy and Krisb, great job on your adaptations!

Pagzz, there are two examples for you, (Cathy's and Krisb's), of removing the sashings to tone down so much of the dominant color. You could use your chevrons in a border to make up for the size difference.

Cathy, love that creative border you made. I'm sure you had to make about a million extra chevron units... but worth it!

I've been working on my pieced twisty border and I'm starting to feel my need for closure kicking in, LOL! It's going to take some finagling at the corners and same side corners are not going to match. Opposite corners will match. I don't even care, at this point. :hunf:
