Sorry -- I've been out of pocket for a couple of days. Aqua is 2" and brown 2 x 2-3/4" if doing separate pieces. I strip piece -- 2" aqua strip and 2-3/4" brown. Place two strips on top of each other right sides facing, then cut 2" pieces. Then they are all ready to sew. If doing scrappy, just use shorter pieces and four different fabrics. This is the easiest way I know to make these blocks.

You are going to love the boom swap! It's the most fun, ever.

can you explain the Boom? I see those threads but never have enough energy to actually read them, my bad. I do look in on the pincushion thread toward the end of each month. If I collected anything it might be those. I'm strong though! Nope not collecting anything. Not collecting anything....

I have about 150 of clue four made, so fun to speculate what we are making!

In the Boom Swap, you get together with 19 other ladies, trade fabric, and make each lady a 12 1/2” quilt block. Then you send them All back to our fearless leader, Janice, who sorts them and sends you back 19 blocks ready for being sewn into a quilt top! Now that is just the very basics. I left out the comradery, the laughter, the beautiful awesome blocks, the naked chicken (yes, there is a naked chicken), sneak previews, etc, etc, etc. If you go to my profile you can see some of the beautiful creations I have received.

I haven't finished clue 3. Clue 4 seems easier so I am working on it in between clue 3s. Picture is heavy with lavender/purple (my choice for Bonnie's melon). So I know we need a lot more of the charcoal (Bonnie's brown) and the turquoise

I am loving everyone's units and colors

Thank you, I'm glad you added that you did strips, I've got so much on my mind I wouldn't have thought of that until they were all cut!

Pagzz, that's so beautiful!

Tweety, can you tell me where to find that video on measuring the accuracy of clue #4?
