Half of clue 5 is done. I was sewing in between batches of cookies and I had to get to the grocery store. Boy, was that crazy:-)

Love your units, Tweety and DogHouseMom. They're looking good.

Thanks for the encouragement jmoore. I did get clue 3 finished today and clue 5 cut out. I think I'm still short on wings for clue 4 but will wait and see. So, pretty productive today. Seeing everyone's clues coming together sure helps me keep plugging along.

I'm thinking this quilt will be on point. I think that because clue 4 units are 218. If the block layout is 5 x 6, the 18 could be for the side triangles. Just a guess...

I hope you are wrong b/c on point would seriously screw up my assembly / quilting plans, but I have been suspicious since those triangles.

Ok, So it is an easy clue...but I'm not doing it today...
I am so busy at work for these days, 22-26th, that I have to play catch up.
I love it that Bonnie writes what this mystery might mean to someone at this time of year. For me, it means that I get to have some stress relief, some fellowship and some beauty amongst all the hectic craziness of working in an icon restaurant. We will do 800 reservations easily. Christmas Eve and Day... Everyone is stressed...I look forward to my quiet piecing time and a beautiful outcome...
Merry Christmas Everyone...

I don't mind being wrong but I've been puzzling over the numbers. Lots of 200's... but I'm not considering sashings. ???! Yes, it's those triangles.

got caught up with cutting for clue 4 on my alternates - plus clue 5 for all three.

Tote is getting full! I think I'll run out of room once I have clue 5 done.

So I've got lots of mindless sewing, which is fine since I'm working on this on the LA.

This is my "practice" one and it's going so well I'm feeling good about putting the "real" one on next.

Here is a pic of some of each of my units in a layout playing w/ the puzzle pieces is so much fun. This is the best version I came up w/ using all 5 clues, but I prefer some other earlier ideas.

Wow Cathy... beautiful quilt and longarming!

Kass, nice arrangement.

Usually she has us cut some plain pieces, like squares... wonder if that's coming next or will be tossed in at the end (if at all...)

Merry Christmas, everyone!
