I've got my half size Mini done - 50 blocks set on point. This weekend I'll work on the other two sets. I'm motivated to get them done as I have my next project selected and I'm excited to get working on it.
I used a lot of triangles to make the setting triangles. I had cut 100 of the blue/green for the shaded 4 patch, and then decided to use gold there. This way I used up most of those extra pieces.

Your Mini size is absolutely exquisite!
I hope you send the pic to Bonnie as it is amazing.
To all my fellow MQ participants... I just want to remind everyone, this is a FREE mystery. It is a Mystery...
No one knows how it is going to turn out, you just have faith that it will be beautiful.
It might be "hard", it might take you out of your "comfort zone", you might be challenged with a new skill or a new color.
It is a mystery...and a joyful one at that.
I appreciate them all. Bonnie does a great service by providing them for us. I see a bit of complaining and whining here. If you wanted to know the predominate colors, then wait for the reveal!!!
I have done 4 mysteries and I love the process of each one.
Were they my favorite colors...not all
Were they difficult...yes
Were they tedious...yes
Did I love the quilt at the end...one I do not like at all
Will I do another one...you betcha
I am grateful to Bonnie...
I am grateful to all of you here that help the clues go fast and easy
Now stop the negative and get those tops done!!!
I love looking at all of them!!!

Umm, I haven't seen any whining here. Only discussions as we all enjoy the reveal and play around with the pieces Bonnie gave us. There are so many options for these units it's hard to decide which we like best. As for the color discussion, I think it was more meant in surprise than whining and complaining. I'm sorry you have understood it as negitivity. Please don't judge.

[QUOTE=sewbizgirl;7975996]Kele, I love your strip pieced neutral sashings! Genius. And definitely not boring, with all those cute prints you used.
Thanks, sewbizgirl!

Kele, looking good. Hope you find an option you like
MacyB love it, really nice finish, those triangles look great.
I have 4 of my 20 blocks finished, but still have units to make (fg)

kele, I love the neutral sashing! It is adorable (but so much work)!
NZquilter, do you mean you're going to make 240 more diamond units?! That print looks a tad busy to my eye.
Macybaby, I gave up when I was trying to follow your description of the changes you made to get that mini, but it is absolutely stunning!
I got the first piece on the remainder of my clue 3s today (was hampered by breaking thread). I hope to finish them tomorrow and sew end to end.

Kele I love your neutral strip pieced sashing. Just love it.
Kassaundra, excited to see yours taking shape now. Going to be stunning.
...and speaking of stunning, Macybaby, oh my, gorgeous top.
I like what your doing with the new sashings. I think it looks great NZquilter.
I'm hoping to start sewing again tomorrow, I picked up a flu bug to enjoy (not).

My goodness! I don't know what you've done to change this but it's amazing! Love everything about it... This blows my mind, Cathy.

The fabric was actually a lone valance I found at Goodwill for under a dollar. So not quite scrappy, but not quite yardage either!
