Happy Birthday, Kristijoy! Hope it's a great day.

Love your fabrics, Windblown. Really like the grunge.

So enjoying this thread with all the fabric choices. Loving them all and can't wait to see them made up.

Thanks everyone for the birthday wishes! It was a lovely day yesterday! We had a nice dinner out and I opened my Art Gallery fabric!

Here's my picture now including the new ones and a few from my stash. The peach/coral is tending towards orange. I tossed in a few pinky ones to push the color family a bit to give it more interest (rather than matchy matchy). Same with the Aquas. Some are more blue, some a little more green.

Here's the black and white. I might take one of the darker teals out as it's getting close to the browns in value... Looks like I need to rotate the aqua/pink stack so you can see all the edges of the fabrics. I'll try again tonight!

Happy Birthday Kristi - I love your fabrics and so glad that you posted the black/white photo too. You have given me the inspiration to add some more pinkish and blues to my group too.

On a color wheel, my colors are nudged a little closer to red than Bonnie's are. Where she has the aqua/turquoise, I am using what I would call periwinkle; her coral to melon will be coral to geranium. Last, chocolate brown will be dark charcoal gray. That one needed some additions. I was surprised to not find much at the Four shops I was able to visit since the colors came out. I've ordered some 1/2 yard cuts, which should be here soon. In the pictures, the paint chips shown are Bonnie's, just for comparison.

Thought you all might like seeing what I did with the Grand Illusion. Took me until this year to decide what it needed. It turned out so well that it won 1st place Viewers Choice two weeks ago in a quilt show at our local library. The backing also has pink flamingos. IMG_4361.JPG

Please try again, posting your photo another way. It didn't show up or link. Would love to see it.

Sync, Your browns are really deep brown on my monitor-- they should really provide a great contrast! What a great selection of corals you have also. :-)
