No it was a former block of the month run by a local quilt shop. I hated it while executing the blocks but once I put the final boarder on I was hooked. lol

DH built it in less than 3 hours. there is a photo tute on my link. I am going to make another one with glass knobs!

You do screw the knob to the board but it is the pressure between the 2 boards that keeps it together!

Thank you but I cannot take credit for the design--it comes from the book "Cutting Curves from Straight Pieces" by Debbie Bowles (AQS 2001). It's an oldie but goodie!

It works sort of like those pants hangers (the good ones that are solid wood) which is what I use if I am going to hang a quilt. There are several styles that have the swivel hooks so that I can hang it on any number of things from cup hooks to wire, to whatever happens to come up <wave>

Im in my husband already said I have to finish my ufos or at least get them to finished tops before i start more but ive be bad started 2 more and only finished 2 so im right back were i started. I'm hoping to get a long arm some time this year so i'll probly only get to tops but i might free motion quilt a few.
